Dental Crowns

Crowns are also known as caps. They give you the benefit of protecting your tooth and its structure (like a helmet for your tooth) in a way that is not possible with normal filling materials.

Dental Implants

Dental implants may be an option for people that have lost a tooth or teeth. Whether you need to replace a single tooth or a complete set of teeth, implants look, feel and function like natural teeth.

Invisalign

We offer Invisalign, which is a great option for adult patients to achieve the smile they want without the appearance and discomfort of traditional braces.

Dental Veneers

At O’Halloran Hill Dental we believe everyone has the right to a bright, beautiful smile. When the teeth are extremely worn, crooked, discoloured or uneven, dental veneers can be the ideal solution.

Affordable & Experienced

Teeth Whitening

Naturally, teeth will discolour, however, this is often accelerated by various foods and drinks we consume, such as: coffee, tea, red wine, etc.

We are able to treat this discoloration and improve your smile through our ‘in-chair bleaching system’ or ‘take-home bleaching kit’.

Frequently asked questions about cosmetic dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry is the art and science of enhancing or correcting dental defects of teeth and gums, which affect the appearance of a smile. The primary goal of cosmetic dentistry is to improve the appearance of teeth to improve the self-esteem of individuals.

The procedures carried out to improve the appearance of teeth and gums are safe. All procedures used in cosmetic dentistry are standard, well researched techniques. And materials used are biologically safe. But if you have any concerns please give our dental team a call today.

Fixing your smile is no different in approach to management of other dental problems. The first step is to identify and understand what is the problem.

After which, a treatment plan is formulated based on this diagnosis. We spend a lot of time with our patients to understand their needs and design management to suit their budget and objectives.

Treatment for dental cosmetic enhancement is very much driven by the diagnosis.

There are 4 areas that impact dental cosmetics. These are:

  1. Missing teeth. Replacement options include using dentures, dental implants, or crowns and bridges.
  2. The shape of teeth. Reshaping teeth using veneers, crowns, or composite resin.
  3. Alignment of teeth. Braces are often used to straighten teeth but veneers can also be used instead.
  4. Colour of teeth. Whitening teeth with bleach gels in special trays are safe and non-invasive for tooth colour change.

Most of the procedures involved in cosmetic dentistry are not invasive. In most cases no anesthesia is necessary.

In most cases, cosmetic procedures are relatively pain-free. Complex cosmetic cases can involve long appointments which may be uncomfortable for some. In these cases, we will split the treatment appointments into shorter blocks of time.
